• Have a global vision of the underlying architecture model and be able to defend its principles.
• Be seen by the delivery team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the solution architecture.
• Possess high technical expertise and knowledge of relevant business solution products across verticals (Operating Systems, Software, Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, Security).
• Have in-depth knowledge of the technological environment, analysis of business requirements and technical specifications (performance, scalability, security, usability, maintenance, integration, deployment, etc.), providing guidance to the Delivery team on how to frame solutions/products within the enterprise architecture model in a sustainable way.
• Be able to visualize the cross-implications of decisions at all technical levels.
• In partnership with the Technical Lead/Principal Engineer, define the technology stack, collaboration framework (standards and processes), and monitor the solution’s development.
• Be familiar with quality standards and ensure that the Delivery team implements them.
• Manage the solution releases, aligning with Change Management processes, identifying how they should be performed.
• Promote and implement solution architecture, technology guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Interact with various project stakeholders (technical lead, product owner, project manager, delivery team) to oversee all requirements.
• Identify and analyze technological risks and constraints of the solution.
• Perform external benchmarking, actively following technological and business trends in the domain/area of expertise.
• Explore technical concepts, prototyping, experimentation, and evaluation of current/new technologies to provide technological guidance.
• Develop and support different teams/areas technically, being perceived as a natural problem solver for technical issues.
• Allocate part of their time to share technical knowledge through collaborative moments, spreading best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise software development.
• Over 2 years of experience in enterprise software architecture.
• Experience in programming with Python and/or Go.
• Experience in developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker (from a developer’s perspective).
• Proficiency in Git.
• Knowledge of microservices design patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure services.
• Proactive in identifying and designing solutions to solve problems.
• Ability to suggest improvements in platforms and tools to optimize daily workflows.
• Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders (business, engineering, etc.).
