Key Holder - Sales Assistant
Job Summary
We’re seeking a reliable and sales-focused Key Holder to join our team at our Clark’s franchise shoe shop. As a Key Holder, you’ll be responsible for opening and closing the store, as well as providing excellent customer service and driving sales. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and will play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging store environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales:
- Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to drive sales
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities
2. Store Operations:
- Open and close the store as required
- Ensure the store is secure, tidy, and well-maintained
- Perform daily tasks such as restocking shelves, facing stock, and maintaining store displays
3. Customer Service:
- Greet customers and respond to their queries
- Provide product advice and recommendations
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
4. Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies
- Ensure stock is properly stored and organised
Requirements
1. Previous retail experience: Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a shoe shop or similar industry
2. Sales skills: Proven ability to drive sales and meet targets
3. Customer service skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Reliability and trustworthiness: Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness
5. Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
