Description Midwest Valve Services, a Novaspect Company, is currently offering an opportunity for an Industrial Technician to join our fast paced, customer-oriented team. Industrial Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards Participate in the repair of safety relief valves in accordance with the National Board VR Code Participate in the machining of nozzles, discs and associated parts to OEM specifications Assist with the repair and testing of safety relief, industrial isolation valves, and actuators Rigging and hoisting valve and actuator components in compliance with OSHA standards Assist in loading and unloading tools and equipment into service vehicles Apply math skills to verify measurements, calculate dimensions and verify tolerances Complete valve repair and service reports Maintain a clean work environment Average travel time is up to 50-60% (Monday-Friday) over the course of the year. This means local travel to customer sites to perform on-site work and travel as needed throughout the Midwest.
