Retainer work often ranges from 10-15 hours per week, scoped at the start of each sprint Launch or initiative-based projects typically range from 16-32 hours per week over 1-3 months, with scope defined prior to project kickoff. What will I be doing? Translate briefs into high-quality, functional designs aligned with client goals and audiences Create source of truth documentation with detailed annotations and o assets to developers and other team members. Build and maintain comprehensive Figma design systems and component libraries Find ways to bring your work to life through motion design or high-fidelity prototypes. Advise clients on e-commerce and UX best practices What do I need? 2+ years of agency or freelance experience, preferably in-house at DTC brands and/or agencies. Proven experience designing for Shopify storefronts Proficient in Figma (including prototyping and variable component systems) Expertise in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present design decisions Self-managed and proactive, with strong organization and attention to detail Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first environment Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present findings and articulate design rationale.
