A fintech organisation is looking for a platform engineer to join one of their squads. They are growing on the back of their success, with their AI powered product improving access to financial advice.
You’d be the DevOps expert, ensuring deployments are efficient and the infrastructure is maintained and enhanced to a high standard. The teams are collaborative, so an attitude to learn from each other is essential, with problem solving at the heart of everything that they do. The company is engaged in the DevOps community, hosting events and speaking at a variety of technology meetups.
You would be hands-on with AWS, Terraform and CI/CD technologies, ensuring the Software Engineers are able to deploy their code. An example of a current project of theirs is a migration from a large kubernetes infrastructure into a serverless model. They look to stay at the edge of technology, and if they can do it better with a new tool then they will.
You would also be joining a company who really believes in a team first culture. They invest to develop their employees - you would have every other Friday to work on anything engineering related. This is a fully remote role, but there is an office in Leamington Spa should you wish to use it. There may be the occasional meet up for some face to face interaction, think big summer BBQ and Christmas party. On top of your salary you would be rewarded with an annual £500 training budget, private health cover and access to mental wellbeing material.
