Job Summary This position is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit. Education Qualifications * Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program, or an approved Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program Required Experience Qualifications * Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a LPN/MA/AEMT obtained through professional MA/LPN/AEMT work experience or completion of student clinical rotations.
