Holy Spirit Catholic School is seeking an interventionist to support students through targeted academic and developmental interventions, with a strong emphasis on early identification and support of learning needs. This position works collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to provide individualized and small-group instruction for students, ages 3–14. The interventionist plays a critical role in promoting student growth, ensuring compliance with special education laws, and helping each child reach their full potential. Position Responsibilities: Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Supports and adheres to the policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese of San Antonio, including the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others. Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information. Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory. Every employee is required to take a solution-oriented approach in their interactions and undertakings, as well as being a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization. Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with classroom instruction. Partner with parents to communicate student progress and provide support strategies. Participate in Student Support Team (SST), RTI/MTSS meetings, and other collaborative planning sessions. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal special education laws. Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
