Description JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting finished goods safely and efficiently while playing a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition to delivery responsibilities, when there are no deliveries to be made, the Delivery Driver will assist in warehouse operations, contributing to our overall efficiency and team success. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safely operate delivery truck to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure proper loading and securing of goods for transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations (federal, state, and local) while operating the vehicle. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic and weather conditions. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions with the delivery vehicle promptly to the appropriate personnel. Keep the interior and exterior of the delivery vehicle well-maintained to reflect the elegance of our products. Provide exceptional customer service through professional and courteous interactions with clients. Assist in warehouse operations when no deliveries are scheduled, including inventory management and order fulfillment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to use sound judgment and excellent decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to operate a delivery vehicle, such as a box truck, safely and responsibly. Strong time management skills. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Flexibility to work variable hours and weekends, if required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Proper lifting techniques are crucial to avoid strain or injury. Ability to maintain focus and sit for extended periods while navigating through various weather and road conditions. Ability to express and exchange ideas using spoken words, perceive sounds, and maintain good visual acuity, including recognizing road signs and signals. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The Delivery Driver will spend the majority of their time on the road, covering long distances in various weather conditions, and may be required to drive during daylight and darkness. When not on deliveries, this role will involve working in a warehouse setting. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a delivery driver is required.
