Hygiene Service Operative – Mobile Work Team
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Salary: £14 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (average 40 hours per week with overtime available on a regular basis)
Travel time paid in addition to hours, any required accommodation paid for along with staying away expenses, vehicle (van) provided.

Hygiene Group Ltd has a great opportunity for a Service/ Hygiene Operative to join an experienced, dedicated and friendly Mobile Work Team. Based out of Leicester, the successful candidate will carry out varied cleaning work, predominantly across the East Midlands and South East of England.

The primary role of the Mobile Service Team is to carry out one-off, specialist work for both existing and new clients within the food, pharmaceutical, packaging & associated industries. Service Operatives are required to carry out all types of cleaning work, switching between daytime & night time working and weekday & weekend working. The role will sometimes require staying away from home.
Duties and Responsibilities would include:
· Carrying out cleaning work in food manufacturing & processing industries
· Working within a variety of working environments including wet, cold, humid, hot, dry and/or dusty conditions
· Carrying out all varieties of cleaning work including plant cleaning, working at height, and working within confined spaces
· Working in and contributing positively to a team-based operation
· Working to Hygiene & Client safety, quality & hygiene requirements
· Undergoing necessary training in relation to high level cleaning, confined space entry, etc

· An understanding of the front-line nature of the Mobile Service Team function
· The ability to adopt appropriate professional behaviours
· Adherence to strict safety, quality & hygiene regulations
· The ability to travel independently to Leicestershire as and when required
Driving duties will form part of the role therefore a full, current driving licence is essential.
Previous experience in cleaning is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
