JOB DESCRIPTION

Encore Metals is a metal distributor located in Calgary, we are looking for a motivated, self-driven and reliable person for an Outside Sales role. We serve a diverse range of manufacturing industries including, Oil/Gas, Construction, Mining, Aerospace, Technology, Electronics, and Agriculture, forging strong partnerships with companies across these sectors to achieve mutual growth and success. We believe in working closely with our customers, adopting a partnership approach that emphasizes exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
This position will manage and grow a sales territory in Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan.
This position is full time, Monday to Friday.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Motivation to work on your own driven by goals and success in selling.
• Able to schedule, manage time effectively.
• Communication in a face to face business to business environment.
• Customer service attitude.
• Willingness to learn new information and be a team player
• Must have strong listening skills and can relay information in daily call reports.
• Not afraid of paperwork.
• Having the ability to think and work on your feet.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma with some post-secondary education in business, marketing or a trade.
• Customer service experience from retail sales, restaurant work or sales.
• Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English.
• Must be in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
