Description PVA is hiring an Inventory/Receiving Team Member to join our growing team in robotic automation. If you’re ready to take the first step in your manufacturing career, we would love to connect JOB DESCRIPTION: The Inventory/Receiving Team Member is responsible for receiving, stocking, maintaining, and inventorying parts used to build machinery for PVA. This position ensures parts are correct and available when needed for production. Job Details: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday Starting pay is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience Onsite in Halfmoon, NY Job Requirements: Receives/distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Ensures invoices for pricing and quantity match shipping manifest. Ensures boxes and product meet quality specifications. Notates damages on bill of lading at time of receipt. Assures “just in time” parts are received by noon. Receive and ensure parts are identified correctly and placed in the correct location/bin. Monitor and report inventory variances. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage. Keep appropriate inventory records and adjustments. Complete new item set up in system as needed. Conduct cycle counts as needed. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements SKILLS: Must have strong verbal communication and listening skills. Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented. Ability to work most of the day on your feet in a fast-paced team environment. Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
