The Faculty of Science at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (Research and Teaching) in Computer Science position with a focus on Critical Infrastructure and Systems in Data Science.
DESCRIPTION OF EXPECTATIONS
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must hold a Doctoral degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline by the start date. The candidate must display potential for leading a high-impact research program. Candidates who are near completion of their program will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in Data Science and a primary focus and interest in large-scale data-intensive systems and infrastructure, such as one or more of the following areas:

Successful applicants will primarily contribute to the data science components of the Department’s programs, but will also have the opportunity to contribute to other components and other programs offered by the Department and Faculty.
