OPPORTUNITY:

BC owned telecommunications company is seeking a new Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting team. The position is a diverse role covering accounting and business support duties.
Location: Prince Rupert or Campbell River. Remote work will be considered for candidates living in BC with a minimum 2 years’ experience working remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-7 years of accounting work experience, and minimum 2 years’ experience working remotely for remote work consideration
  • Must have experience working in Sage accounting software and SharePoint
  • Must have experience working in ERP software
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and SharePoint
  • Technologically competent, with proven ability to leverage software tools to improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of full cycle corporate accounting, in a multi project tracking environment
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team to resolve issues and present solutions
  • Superior organization, time management, and time management skills
  • Superior communication, critical and logical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and analytical
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, resourceful, and efficient in proactively managing multi-priority workload
  • “Roll up the sleeves” to get it done attitude
  • Must thrive working in high pace and high growth work environment
