JOB DESCRIPTION:

Loading and unloading goods from delivery vans or Lorries.
Checks that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received.
Records any damaged, missing or faulty goods.
Sign the delivery form, once satisfied that the goods are complete.
Maintain daily goods inward schedule, recording all goods inward and keeping all paperwork together.
Move goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment or FLT.
Label goods correctly.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compliance with security procedures and health & safety.
Maintain the warehouse and yard in a tidy state at all times and clear away packing material and debris.
Ensure all waste is disposed of according to company goals and policies.
Uses computerised systems, barcode scanners and other technology to record goods movement.
General quality controls of goods in and/or goods out.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
