Position requires individuals to furnish their own reliable transportation to fulfill the job’s functions Duties & Responsibilities: * Build and/or maintain a preventative maintenance program that minimizes emergency repairs and service repairs * Recruit, hire, and train maintenance team members * Assist in creating community budget to forecast and maintain operational standards. Monitor ongoing maintenance expenses according to budget * Ensure maintenance supplies and materials are stocked and select/order appropriate materials as needed * Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor * Read/listen and respond to resident requests and/or concerns in a calm, supportive, and timely manner * Perform on-call emergency service requests when scheduled. When on call, emergency after-hours calls will require an immediate response and arrival at the property no more than an hour after the call is received.
