The Sales Manager will drive sales activities, develop new opportunities, and manage relationships with a variety of customers, including retail chains, distributors, dealers, hunting outfitters, and end consumers. This role requires leadership, collaboration, and strong organizational skills to effectively communicate our product offerings and grow our market presence. Hours & Pay Schedule: Monday–Friday, office hours Pay Range: $70,000 - $103,000 annually Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with Maverick’s goals. Conduct market analysis, identify customer needs, and evaluate pricing, volume benefits, marketing programs, and support materials. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential threats. Deliver sales presentations, negotiate, and close deals with key customers and prospects. Collaborate with Customer Support to onboard new customers and maintain service for existing accounts. Partner with Finance to establish payment terms with retail chains, distributors, and dealers. Provide insights on product features, pricing, and channel partner requirements to cross-functional teams. Coordinate trade shows and sales events to promote and sell products. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 3+ years of sales experience, preferably selling to large retail chains, B2B, and B2C. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). CRM and ERP experience (Epicor preferred) a plus. Experience or interest in the hunting industry is highly desirable.
