Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Loading / unloading truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment. * Picking and moving from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times. * Ensure all documentation is properly completed. * Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies. * Proper storing of all inbound loads in the correct warehouse location. * Ensure all shipments are properly marked before storing / picking. * Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping. * Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse. * Coordinate paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day. * General maintenance of are surrounding warehouse. * Ensure trailers are swept clean of any debris when empty. * Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly. * Process outbound freight cross-dock freight as necessary. * Ability to operate Stand-up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit-down forklift work. * Follow all safety procedures at all times. * Must be able to build pallets and break down stock. * Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse. * Other tasks as assigned by manager. Additional Responsibilities: * Must know how to operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand-up Reach Forklift. * Good communication, problem resolution and people skills. * Ability to maintain orderly operation of warehouse. Qualifications: * 1 year Fork Lift driving experience. * Certified Fork Lift License. Education and/or Experience Required: * High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
