PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS: • Travailler, tant de façon autonome qu’en collaboration avec les travailleurs et travailleuses des autres secteurs, à la remise à neuf et la réparation de l’équipement utilisé dans l’industrie du transport. • Travailler à partir des plans, des croquis, des modèles du fabricant, des schémas de circuit et des autres schémas, ainsi qu’en fonction des spécifications de construction. • Utiliser des outils à main et des outils électriques couramment employés dans l’industrie. • Savoir s’adapter aux nouveaux processus, matériaux et équipements ainsi qu’aux nouvelles méthodes. • Respecter les procédures de sécurité établies, y compris en ce qui touche l’utilisation de vêtements de protection et d’équipements de sécurité. • Peut être appelé à travailler lors de divers quarts de travail et la fin de semaine, de même qu’à l’extérieur par mauvais temps. • S’acquitter d’autres tâches connexes qui lui sont confiées. EXIGENCES : • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou certificat d’équivalence du cours secondaire (GED) • 1-2 ans d’expérience dans un environnement de production • Expérience de l’utilisation d’outils manuels et électriques • Expérience en menuiserie de finition, installation de fenêtres et de planchers considérée comme un atout • Doit être mécaniquement incliné Savoir lire et interpréter des plans, et travailler à partir de ceux-ci. • Posséder de bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication (de vive voix et par écrit). • Excellentes compétences en matière d’organisation et de planification. • Connaissance des codes de sécurité et capacité manifeste de travailler dans le respect des normes de sécurité. • Capacité manifeste de travailler en équipe. • Engagement à respecter les normes de la Commission en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail.
