Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Project EIT

• Process Mechanical to join the team in our Burnaby, BC office. The successful candidate must be available to work at a site office 5 days per week, located in North Vancouver.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Member of the Owner’s construction management team for a large and complex multi-year project
• Reports to the Senior Engineer
• Process Mechanical and Electrical/Instrumentation
• Reviews Contractor RFI’s and coordinates with the Engineer-of-Record to address technical issues
• Collaborates with the Owner’s Engineer to resolve technical discussions between the Contractor and EOR.
• Supports the CM team with non-compliance reporting and general construction oversight

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process mechanical design, construction, commissioning or operation.
• Previous experience working in Wastewater or clean water treatment and familiarity with P&IDs preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve construction issues.
• Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with process automation and control systems.
• Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC. Education and Credentials
• Bachelor’s degree in Process, Mechanical, Industrial or related engineering field.
• Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC or equivalent or immediate ability for EIT registration. • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $ 76,500.00 - Max Salary $ 110,900.00

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
