Binnie is looking for a Civil Design Engineer - EIT to join our Development and Infrastructure Calgary Division which provides professional services for municipal infrastructure programs, large multi-family housing projects and major commercial and industrial developments.
Projects typically include site servicing, underground infrastructure renewal, drainage improvement, stormwater management, grading, roadway geometrics and rehabilitation, and pathways.
This is a full-time position in our Calgary office, located near the Calgary Tower and Stephen Avenue, with shops and restaurants nearby.
You will work with our supportive team of Engineers and Project Managers. You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction. This challenging and exciting role offers great mentorship opportunities.

• Collaborating on team projects
• Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D
• Performing design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record
• Preparing reports, manuals, and technical memorandums
• Ensuring quality control procedures are completed as per Binnie’s Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Policy
• Ensuring that project designs and calculations adhere to standards
• Conducting site inspections
