Role accountabilities: Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling, including data collection, design review, model setup and calibration, and system assessment Support the development of stormwater servicing plans Develop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designs Provide technical analysis in support of Civil engineering design associated with municipal or rural stormwater systems and stormwater management facilities Provide quality control and peer review on colleagues' projects Coordination of CAD design technologists to prepare designs ensuring quality procedures are followed Coordination with project managers on site design, budget, scheduling, proposals and related technical documents Develop and maintain positive client, subconsultant, and approving authority relationships Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Registration as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) Minimum of 3 years of experience in assessment, modeling, and detailed design of stormwater systems. Detailed design experience in general municipal engineering, transportation, or community development projects Experienced in infrastructure master planning, flood management, or river modelling is an asset Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills Strong software skills: using hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, XPSWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Civil 3D as well as Excel, Word, and Bluebeam Why Arcadis?
