Job Description AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineering Graduate to be based in Markham, Ontario. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Undertake preliminary and detailed engineering design activities under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer for water and wastewater infrastructure. Equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors. Preparation of technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tender. Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision. Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy. Provision of contract administration services during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities. Work independently and as part of a team to complete water and wastewater infrastructure assignments. Prepare technical reports and analyses to support project assignments. Actively engage in professional development and industry events. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or other related field. Preferred Qualifications: Eligible to apply for P.Eng. within four years. Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
