Arcadis' Intelligence practice works on unique and leading-edge transportation technology projects for agencies across North America and International. We are looking for great people with a keen interest in technology to join our Intelligent Transportation and Tolling teams to assist public and private entities across North America plan, design, procure, deploy and utilize technologies and systems for application to tolling, traffic operations traveler information, transit and other transportation business functions. Examples of the types of projects that we typically work on include multi-tier corporate level electronic payment systems for tolling and transit, ITS systems for incident detection and traffic management, data analysis for performance monitoring and operational improvement, mobile apps for payment, planning and information dissemination.  Role accountabilities: Technical Responsibilities: For new projects or updates on existing the following responsibilities are applicable •Gather system requirements and work directly with client team and internal software development and service delivery teams  •Prepare project deliverables such as technical memos, design documents, project plan and testing documents, reports, schedules, and engineering cost estimates. • Install, configure, test and commission various electronic devices IT equipment and software.  • Onsite activities may include meeting with client for workshops, overseeing subcontractor device installation, formal testing and support.
