Qualifications & Experience To excel in this role, you will bring: A completed university degree in geosciences, natural sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering. 8+ years of relevant professional experience in occupational safety, environmental protection, or regulatory compliance. Other key experience will include: Sound knowledge of Canadian occupational safety and environmental law. Experience working with formal management systems in accordance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001). Working experience in conducting Environmental Compliance Management Assessments and Audits pertaining to, but not limited to: Halocarbon Regulations, PCB management, Pest Control, Fuel Storage Tank Systems. Spills and Emergency Response, Wastewater Management, Waste and Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Materials Management, Air Emissions Management, Land and Wildlife An independent, structured approach to work, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
