Job overview
We’re seeking an expert-level Fortinet Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our security infrastructure within the Azure cloud. You will ensure our cloud migration is protected by a robust and scalable security posture, leveraging Fortinet’s product suite in a public cloud context.
Required Certification: Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) – Public Cloud Security, or an equivalent high-level certification (such as the former NSE 7).
Key responsibilities
· Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls in Azure, including High Availability (HA) configurations and integration with Azure networking.
· Configure and maintain FortiWeb (Web Application Firewall) for protecting web applications, including policy tuning and threat analysis.
· Deploy and configure FortiADC (Application Delivery Controller) for load balancing and traffic management.
· Manage and orchestrate Fortinet solutions using FortiManager.
· Apply cloud security principles to network architecture, user-defined routes (UDRs), and hybrid environment protection.
Qualifications and skills
· Education: An equivalent diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related IT field.
· Proficiency in Python and Terraform (HCL) for security automation and infrastructure as code.
· Experience with PowerShell or Bash for scripting and automation in Azure.
· Familiarity with Fortinet APIs is a strong asset.
· Strong understanding of cloud security and enterprise-scale deployments.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
