This position is crucial for providing high-quality care to our community, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, and education. Key Responsibilities • Patient Evaluation and Treatment: o Conduct thorough evaluations of referred patients. o Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. o Provide discharge planning, patient/family education, and recommendations for follow-up care. • Documentation: o Accurately document evaluation results and services provided. o Adhere to hospital and department guidelines for documentation. • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: o Participate as a member of both self-directed departmental and interdisciplinary patient care teams. o Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to goal setting for routine diagnoses. • Clinical Instruction and Training: o Provide clinical instruction to OT and OTA students. o Offer training and education to department and hospital staff. • Supervisory Responsibilities: o Supervise Rehab Technicians, COTA staff, volunteers, and students during clinical rotations.
