This is a hands-on, site-embedded position where you’ll be the face of safety across our Yatala wet manufacturing site and Wulkuraka Game Meat Processing site. What you’ll be doing Be the visible leader of safety on site—coaching, influencing, and building trust across all levels Develop, implement and continuously improve a standardised, compliant and efficient WHS system Take a risk-based approach to safety, focusing on prevention, not reaction Drive performance across key metrics, including: Lead indicators: hazards raised/actioned, corrective actions, audit outcomes Lag indicators: LTI, LTIFR, TRIFR Workers compensation claims, engagement, and training compliance Partner with operations to embed safety into daily routines, not bolt it on Support leaders to win the hearts and minds of employees when it comes to safety Maintain a strong on-floor presence across shifts when required.
