ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a passionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse ready to lead, inspire, and drive change? Mental Health South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 2) –Consultation Liaison, based at Bankstown hospital. In this key leadership role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and consultation across inpatient and general hospital settings, enhancing the capacity of medical, nursing, and allied health teams to deliver safe, compassionate care for patients with complex mental health needs.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting holistic and integrated care through direct patient engagement, evidence-based assessment, intervention, care planning, and staff education. This role also provides the opportunity to lead clinical practice development, deliver specialised education, and drive service innovation to promote equity of access and mental health awareness.
You will contribute to strategic planning, research, and quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for consumers and deliver truly person-centred care.
