This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development and care of children within our stimulating setting.
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner who is committed to providing the highest standard of child care and early years education. You will work as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Observe and assess children’s development, contributing to their learning journals.
• Work as part of a supportive team and without supervision, using your initiative during day-to-day activities.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Ensure the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety are maintained at all times.

• Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager and team to provide outstanding child care.

  Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce).

• Proven experience as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator.
• A solid understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A genuine passion for child care and early childhood development.
• Ability to work without supervision as part of a dedicated team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar nursery setting.

• Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Food Hygiene certificate.

• A creative and enthusiastic approach to learning.
