Jo Jo’s Day Care Nursery Limited are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to work in a busy Early Years setting in Herne Bay, Kent.
Our nursery is currently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted with the aim of becoming ’Outstanding’ in our next inspection! We are looking for a team player to work aside our qualified and experienced staff in the Pre-School Room.
The successful applicant will be passionate about working in childcare.
You will have the experience of working in a busy nursery or early years environment and have a good understanding of best practice.
You will be a self-motivated, flexible individual, who can work well within a team or on your own.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, all year round.
This is NOT a Term Time Only position.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a day care setting as a practitioner.
· Previous experience of caring for children aged 0-5
· An understanding of how children learn, and the early learning goals
· A passion to provide high quality childcare
· A positive approach to your own professional development
· Good written and verbal skills - for report writing, maintaining written records and sharing information with parents and colleagues
