Responsibilities

JOB ROLE:

Working within a Complex Care at Home package providing care as required and helping a young individual with complex medical needs live as independently as she can.
You will work along side a trained Complex Care Nurse to provide support and Moving & Handling for our client.
SNMS require applicants to have a qualification in the Health & Social Care Sector, minimum 1 year experience working as a Health Care Assistant and working within a Complex Care environment is an advantage.
Experience in Paediatrics, Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy is an advantage but not essential as full training and shadowing will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, alongside a Registered Nurse
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, alongside a Registered Nurse
  • Monitor and document patient’s vital signs and medical history, alongside a Registered Nurse
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care, alongside a Registered Nurse
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records, alongside a Registered Nurse
