We’re seeking a Treatment Nurse - LVN or RN to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Nurse in good standing with state agency.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills, leadership qualities, and good communication skills.

• Perform dressing changes and wound care.
• Responsible for monitoring/follow-up of all ulcers and incisions with appropriate documentation and communication to physician and family.
• Assess Weekly nutrition/hydration of residents with all ulcers and incisions, evaluate and initiate additional nutritional intake as required.
• Monitor lab reports for incidence of infection in assigned wounds. Evaluate causative factors/problems, and solutions and communicate same to nursing staff management.
• Augment floor staffing if needed
