The Food Service Worker supports the preparation, service, and clean-up of nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, value teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with food preparation and portioning in accordance with standardized recipes and menu guidelines. Serve meals to students and staff courteously and efficiently. Set up and restock serving lines, salad bars, and condiment stations. Operate kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, warmers, dishwashers) safely and correctly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas. Comply with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations and company procedures. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supply inventory. Maintain accurate production and temperature logs as required. Follow all cleaning and sanitation schedules. Work effectively with team members and communicate professionally with students and staff.
