Requirements Qualifications & Experience Candidates may qualify with any of the following: Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience. School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
