A 3D Piping Modeler position is available with Garney Construction. To be considered for this position, you must have previous BIM/VDC experience. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Develop and maintain accurate 3D piping models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, or similar software. Coordinate closely with engineering and design teams to interpret design intent and translate it into constructible models. Generate piping layouts, isometric drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) from 3D models. Integrate piping systems with structural, architectural, and other MEP models to identify and resolve clashes. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and company standards. Participate in model reviews and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders. Update models to reflect as-built conditions and incorporate redline markups. Support field and fabrication teams with detailed visualizations and spool drawings. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination within the AEC industry Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and understanding specifications. Must be able to review take-off quantities to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates and review drawings, specifications and proposed project site conditions.
