JOB DESCRIPTION:

TRI-AIR Systems is a leading HVAC service and maintenance company with our office and shop located in Markham. We service the GTA and the surrounding areas. We are a union company (Local 787) and are hiring a talented HVAC Service MECHANIC to join our team. If you’re excited to be part of our team, TRI-AIR is a great place to grow your career.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed Mechanic (313A), will consider registered apprentice.
  • G1 gas license is preferable.
  • Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot HVAC equipment (RTUs, boilers, air-cooled chillers, make-up airs, air handlers, heaters etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
  • Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job.
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Driver’s license and a clean drivers abstract.
  • Ability to effectively manage time.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment.
  • Educating our client on how to use and maintain their equipment.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency service on a variety of HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
  • Order parts needed for repairs if needed.
  • Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
  • Complete quote sheets for work recommended.
  • Explain issues with equipment and repairs to clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
