Essential Responsibilities Patient Care: Interview patients and record vital signs (e.g., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) in patient charts. Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers during patient examinations and treatments. Administer medications as directed and document administration in the EMR system. Clinical Support: Clean and sterilize instruments, restock medical supplies, and inventory/order necessary materials. Assist with lab specimen collection according to lab standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete medical histories, family and social histories, and medication records in the EMR system. Verify patient demographics and other data for accuracy. Quality Assurance: Coordinate with providers to ensure all organizational quality standards are consistently met. Maintain Basic Life Support and CPR certification per Red Cross or American Heart Association guidelines.
