POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. This position plays a key role in supporting provider, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical Assistant: Completion of accredited MA program; certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care.

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform basic in clinic lab testing and collect specimens.
• Perform venipuncture lab collection .
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
• Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared.
• Support front office staff as needed for scheduling, patient check-in, and phone calls.
