This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and meets quality and safety standards to support continuous production. Performs a variety of skilled journeyman level general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks. Conducts inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment in the molding and assembly areas of the manufacturing facility. May serve as a technical expert in HVAC operations, service, and repair. Main accountabilities and tasks Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform timely repairs Calibrate and adjust machines to maintain compliance with production and quality specifications Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify equipment improvements and upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records and report any equipment malfunctions Ensure all maintenance activities comply with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety regulations Assist in equipment installations, validations and qualification activities Respond promptly to production equipment breakdowns to reduce operational disruptions Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
