Job Title: Clinical Negligence Case Handler
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Location: Clayton-Le-Woods, Chorley PR6 7EN*

*FOLLOWING SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A PROBATIONARY PERIOD THE ROLE IS HYBRID WORKING WITH 1 OFFICE DAY PER WEEK BASED AT OUR CHORLEY OFFICE.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Speed Medical for a Clinical Negligence Case Handler.
Previous experience in Clinical Negligence/Legal/Medical fields would be preferred but is not essential.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to support the day-to-day handling and administration of Clinical Negligence cases. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on supporting instructing parties, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of case documentation, and liaising with medical experts, injured parties and external providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in the day-to-day management and progression of Clinical Negligence cases
• Obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports
• Liaising with medical experts and treatment providers to arrange appointments and ensure timely receipt of medical-legal reports
• Ensuring experts are appropriately qualified and compliant with regulatory requirements
• Managing documentation and case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility
• Supporting with cost estimates, fee negotiation, and ensuring value for money
• Maintaining up-to-date records on internal databases and systems
• Responsible for own case load and point of contact for appointed instructing parties.
