Schedule: PRN, Weekends, Nights, All Shifts Available, 12 Hour Shifts Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Assess patients' health conditions, including physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established nursing protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, reporting significant changes or concerns to the healthcare team. Provide emotional support and patient education on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and other support staff as needed. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory guidelines. Current CPR certification. Experience with electronic medical record systems and documentation preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the healthcare facility. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transfer patients, with or without assistance, up to 50lbs. Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods. Strength to handle medical equipment and assist patients with mobility and physical activities. Visual acuity and dexterity for performing tasks such as reading medical records, administering injections, and handling medical instruments.
