We’re currently looking for a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) and Registered Nurses (RN) for weekend shifts in the Mathis (78411) area.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse who is passionate about caring for pediatric patients. Experience with tracheostomy care, G-tubes, and ventilators is a plus, but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with g-tube, trach, and highly preferred.
• Successful completion of a certified licensed nursing program.
• Licensed Registered Nurse/ Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Spanish Speaking, At Least Understanding
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of previous home health experience preferred
• Experience and passion nursing Pediatric patients. Tracheostomy, g-tube and vent care would be an asset.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and to communicate with the population served by the agency
• Ability to assess data reflecting the patient’s status
• Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements related to specific needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Private Duty Nurse, you’ll provide one-on-one care for medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes. Shifts are typically 8–12 hours with the same patient, allowing for meaningful and consistent care.
Position: Private Duty Nurse
Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays, 7 am to 6 pm, Sunday, Day, 4 hours (Updated)
Pay: Pay varies depending on the patient acuity, experience, and other factors.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Administering medications
• Monitoring vital signs
• Providing wound care
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Educating and supporting patients and their families

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide Private Duty Nursing in the homes of our patients: 1:1 Patient care.
• Implement the physician’s prescribed plan of care, delivering personalized healthcare services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in the designated system of record (Kantime).
• Must hold a valid and active Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Texas.
