Packaging Team Leader - Weekends
Location: Shieldhall, Glasgow
Role Type: 12-months Fixed-Term Contract
Shift Pattern: 0700 to 1900 Friday, Saturday & Sunday
End date to Apply: 7th September

What You’ll Do-
As a Weekend Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence while building an engaged, high-performing team.

Lead & Inspire

• Provide strong leadership on shift, fostering collaboration and accountability
• Coach and develop a multi-disciplinary team of operators and engineers
• Create a positive and inclusive employee experience where people thrive

Drive Performance

• Deliver against key performance metrics on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and engagement
• Ensure efficient line performance and operational reliability
• Lead day-to-day operations while planning for medium- to long-term improvements

Champion Continuous Improvement

• Embed Manufacturing Excellence standards and a culture of lean ways of working
• Drive root cause problem-solving and sustainable solutions

About the Site & Team-

• The largest packaging site in our Scotch category
• Supplies over 30 million cases annually of iconic brands including Johnnie Walker, Buchanan’s, Bell’s, and J&B Scotch Whisky
• Comprises 7 production lines, spirit supply operations, multiple dry and wet component areas, and around 400 people
