(PERMANENT NIGHT SHIFTS)

We are seeking to recruit a number of Technical Machine Operatives on a permanent full time basis, to support business growth, continued investment and holiday cover at the Saica Pack Ashbourne plant. We manufacture packaging solutions using high speed Production and printing machines, robotics and automated materials handling in a high volume and demanding environment. You will be required to work permanent night shifts on a weekly basis.
As part of a fully flexible team working across various machines, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills, problem solving and innovation to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process, whilst working at all times in a safety first manner. If you are a self motivated leader, committed and are tenacious and possess a willingness to learn new skills and some of the following skills, knowledge, and or experience then we would like to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very established and growing business at the Ashbourne plant and with the Saica Group. Full training will be provided to the successful applicants on commencement of employment as well as further potential future development opportunities for candidates who wish to progress within the organisation.
The breakdown of nightshift hours are:
· Monday to Thursday 11pm – 7am
· Friday 7pm - 1am

Essential criteria:

• Experience within a comparable role

Desirable criteria:

• Previous proven experience of working within highly effective self sufficient teams
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment where Safety, Quality and Productivity are key measures
• Mechanical or Electrical aptitude and awareness
• Interest in computers / Technology/ Robotics Experience of a continuous improvement and effective team working environment highly desirable
• Recent completion of a relevant vocational qualification would be desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €22.00-€25.00 per hour
