Description
The Senior Intelligence Analyst will provide support for operational intelligence integration and data-centric operations for customers across tactical, joint, interagency, allied, and coalition partners, including Army Service Component Commands (ASCC), Joint Task Force J-2s, and Combatant Commands. This position is contingent upon award expected summer 2026. Work is to be performed at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI) to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.). Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the senior leadership as well. May focus on domestic as well as international threats. Considered a recognized authority in this area of expertise. Intelligence analysis may include; IMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, or MASINT. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. May support development and analysis of intelligence products. Presents analysis or products to customers. May support policy and procedures development for agency, interagency, or community wide support. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness. Apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts. Viewed as an expert in the field. Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops information, which extends knowledge in a given field. Information may form the basis of newly developed concepts, theories, and products. FREEDOM TO ACT: Often acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to accomplish long-range objectives. Work is checked only to the effectiveness of results obtained, typically requiring a long-term perspective. Virtually self-supervisory. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives. IMPACT: Designs research and develops highly advanced new applications resulting in new product/business opportunities for the company. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would have a long-term negative effect on organization's reputation and business posture. LIASON: Serves as consultant to top management in long-range company planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. Prime spokesperson on company's technical capabilities and future directions. Often instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new company business.
