DÉCLARATION DE RESPONSABILITÉ : Le formateur ou la formatrice, Soudage et normes connexes doit élaborer, tenir à jour et offrir des programmes de formation en soudage, conformément aux normes de l’American Welding Society (AWS) et du Bureau canadien de soudage (BCS). Le ou la titulaire de ce poste doit donner une formation supplémentaire en matière d’assurance de la qualité (AQ), selon les besoins de la division concernée, et offrir un encadrement aux membres du personnel de la CTON en ce qui concerne les techniques de soudage, les pratiques de sécurité et les normes de l’industrie, et ce, afin de garantir la conformité et l’excellence opérationnelle. PRINCIPALES TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS : Élaborer, tenir à jour et mettre en œuvre le programme de soudage de la CTON afin de garantir la conformité avec les exigences de l’AWS et du BCS. Effectuer les inspections finales des travaux de soudage achevés dans toutes les divisions concernées (p. ex. atelier de réparation camions, atelier de fabrication, division chargée des réparations extérieures, atelier de wagons). Offrir aux membres du personnel une formation et un encadrement à propos des techniques de soudage, des pratiques de sécurité et des normes de l’industrie. Faire passer les tests théoriques et pratiques dans le cadre de la formation sur le soudage et l’AQ. Prévoir à l’horaire et coordonner de manière proactive des séances de formation sur le soudage et l’AQ, selon les besoins. Tenir à jour et offrir des programmes de formation sur les normes d’AQ, y compris la norme M-1003 et d’autres exigences de l’industrie. Élaborer du matériel d’enseignement et des activités d’apprentissage pratiques à l’appui des programmes de formation. Donner une rétroaction et procéder à des évaluations informelles pour aider les stagiaires à améliorer leurs compétences. Soutenir et guider les membres du personnel pendant les séances de formation en classe et pratiques. Tenir des registres et des dossiers de formation exacts en lien avec les programmes de soudage et d’AQ. Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe et les divisions pour répondre aux exigences en matière de formation et de conformité. Consulter des ingénieures et ingénieurs en soudage externes sur des questions liées aux processus. EXIGENCES : Diplôme d’études collégiales en techniques de soudage ou en fabrication par soudage. Les certificats de qualification en soudage du BCS, à savoir la certification en soudage à l’arc avec fil électrode enrobé (SMAW), la certification en soudage à l’arc sous gaz métal (GMAW) et la certification en soudage à l’arc avec fil fourré (FCAW), sont obligatoires. La certification d’inspectrice ou d’inspecteur en soudage (CWI) de niveau II ou d’un niveau supérieur et la certification de contrôle visuel en soudage (VT) de niveau II ou d’un niveau supérieur sont souhaitables. De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience récente en soudage, y compris en ce qui touche les techniques MIG, TIG, Stick et Flux Core; en lecture de plans et de symboles de soudage; en utilisation de meuleuses, de scies, de perceuses et d’outils de mesure (p. ex. pieds à coulisse). Expérience de l’offre d’un enseignement ou d’un encadrement à d’autres personnes à propos des techniques de soudage, de la sécurité et des normes de l’industrie.
