Poppy Unit is a 20 bedded mixed acute unit located in the heart of Wiltshire. We work with a range of service users who are presenting as acutely unwell and in crises.
We are looking for professional and enthusiastic nurses to come and work with our wonderful team of qualified nurses, HCA’s, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapist, Exercise Specialists, Activities Coordinator and Doctors.
As a Band 6 Nurse you will be expected to co-ordinate shifts, risk assess, show clinical leadership, and implement Quality Improvement projects, as well as acting up into the band 7 role in the absence of a band 7. Skilled management and clinical work within Poppy Ward can be rewarding. You will receive regular supervision within the team.
