Job Description Responsibilities: ● Assist band leader with all tasks. ● Serve as primary liaison between staff and band leader. ● Assist band during remote shoots and road shows. ● Distribute setlist for each show on a daily basis. ● Disseminate important information to the band, such as schedule changes and taping dates. ● Work with NBC music licensing for all music clearance needs. ● Coordinate with audio engineer regarding lyric needs or other tasks. ● Assist band in various tasks and oversee interns on runs. ● Submit daily music cues to music department and help oversee interns with music cue sheets. ● Monitor the show for music cue changes by checking in with writers and segment producers. ● Handle Roots paperwork. ● Delegate casting paperwork. ● Submit band attendance weekly. ● Submit expenses on behalf of The Roots for transportation. ● Coordinate with stage managers to wrangle band members. ● Coordinate travel on remote shoots and road shows. ● Book transportation for band members Qualifications Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required Minimum 1 year experience supporting high level Executive in Television Entertainment or equivalent production experience Must be proficient on Mac Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Desired Characteristics: Experience working in a fast-paced environment, be able to maintain composure and be agreeable to changes Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Flexible, personable, self-starter, with attention to detail and the ability to interface with all levels of NBCU staff and show crew.
