Job Summary: We are seeking result-driven Sales Associates for our fast-paced retail locations that can provide our customers with fast, friendly, and high-quality service. The Sales Associate is responsible for a variety of retail functions, such as performing cashier duties, checking, and stocking inventory, general cleaning, and performing opening, mid-shift and closing duties as needed. This position also requires the preparation and serving of FriendShip food items at locations where food is served. Sales Associate Responsibilities · Provide Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) to our customers each day. · Maintain outstanding guest service standards, product knowledge and all other components of guest services. · Assists in receiving, placing, monitoring and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed. · Identifies and communicates merchandising and sales floor operational opportunities to Store Management staff. · Maintain interior and exterior store appearance according to company housekeeping standards. · Work with the Deli Manager to understand and execute proper deli food preparation and storage procedures. · Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required. · Regular attendance is required. · Safely operate store equipment. · Operation of cash register and responsibility for cash accountability. · Completes shift paperwork and other paperwork, such as: price changes, transfers, etc. as directed by Supervisor. * Job responsibilities may change at any time due to business needs. Skills and Competencies: · Effective verbal and written communication skills. · Friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus · Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail. · Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner. · Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others. · Availability to work flexible shifts. Requirements · High School Diploma or G.E.D. · Preferred 1 year of experience in food service restaurant or at the C-Store of QSR level. · Achieving level 1 ServSafe Certification · Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions Physical Demands and Environmental Condition Requirements Occasional: Walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling, climbing, stooping, forward bending, squatting, reaching, use of hands and feet, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, weather, atmospheric conditions.
