Tasks
As Founder’s Associate to the CMO, you will be at the center of Accountable’s growth strategy, working closely with the leadership of the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insight into marketing, performance growth, brand strategy, and customer acquisition—all while actively shaping the next phase of Accountable’s success.
Accountable has been founded by serial entrepreneurs willing to pass on their experiences to kick-start your entrepreneurial journey. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop hands-on experience in marketing, operations, and strategy within a fast-growing fintech startup. You’ll work directly with the founders to drive high-priority initiatives, explore new growth opportunities, and optimize marketing efforts for maximum impact.

Your key responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities, develop business cases, and assist in launching initiatives that expand Accountable’s presence.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover trends, insights, and strategic advantages.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and Sales teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
• Take ownership of high-priority marketing projects from idea to execution, ensuring timely delivery and impact.
• Develop data-driven insights to inform marketing strategy, experiment with growth levers, and optimize ROI.
• Step into interim roles as needed to drive momentum and execution in key areas.
• Facilitate communication between the CMO and internal/external stakeholders including the board materials

Requirements

• First experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or fast-paced startups.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies in marketing, business, economics, engineering, or a related field at a top tier university.
• Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills—you thrive on breaking down challenges and delivering data-backed recommendations.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude—you love taking ownership, working autonomously, and driving impactful results.
• Native/professional fluency in German, Dutch or French
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Familiarity with performance marketing, digital analytics, or low-code/no-code tools is a strong advantage.
• You’re willing to commit to this role for a duration of at least 6 months.
